Summary
We are hiring an experienced paid media expert to join Global Media Team as part of the US Media Strategy team. The team is responsible for media strategy, planning, and execution stewardship of Corporate Marketing campaigns. In this role, they will partner with Marketing, Decision Science, Insights, Creative, Policy & Comms teams and agency teams to plan and execute campaigns that deliver our brand narrative through effective and innovative media strategies and plans. They will
partner deeply with internal stakeholders across Marketing and cross-functional campaign teams (i.e. Decision Science, Insights, and Creative), MarTech and agency teams to build strong partnerships, translate goals into integrated, data-driven programs, and drive flawless execution and innovation across multiple channels and partners. Qualified candidates will have deep media expertise across paid channels, leveraging
data-driven approaches and pushing for insights and innovation. They will have proven leadership experience driving strategy, planning and implementation of Brand focused paid media campaigns with some familiarity with performance marketing.
Ideal candidates should be capable of influencing up and across stakeholders, setting direction and driving programs to completion. They should thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-driven environment and be able to manage multiple projects in parallel.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary media POC and single threaded owner of integrated media strategy and channel planning, partnering closely with agency and internal teams
  • Set the vision and strategic direction for Corporate Marketing media investment, grounded in objectives and audience, channel, and marketplace insights, delivering innovation and business outcomes
  • Provide internal thought partnership and guidance to influence upstream media strategy deliverables and support connection into integrated Go-to-Market plans
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to lead the development of audience and media approach and drive tactical planning, execution and optimization
  • Partner with cross-functional partners and leadership across marketing, decision science, insights & creative, with external media agency, and Global Media teams to develop fully integrated work
  • Analyze campaign performance against KPIs and develop takeaways, and recommendations for campaign optimization and reporting
  • Serve as Media SME in consultation with cross-functional leaders and teammates

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in media planning, within an agency or a client organization
  • Experience leading cross-functional groups and influencing outcomes across stakeholders and teams.
  • Experience managing a media agency
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Experience in measurement, analytics and mining insights to develop compelling recommendations and perspectives.
  • Experience in planning and executing scaled, integrated media strategies, multi-channel media campaigns and working in data-driven environments
  • Experience identifying opportunities for campaign optimization, as well as audience segmentation, based on findings from data and external research.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the trends impacting media, measurement and analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with a creative team to integrate creative ideas/strategy with media strategy and channel selection
  • Experience working data science/analytics teams to shape and integrate media strategies and channel selection with measurement plans and learning agendas.

Must Have Skills
1. Deep Media Expertise Across Paid Channel

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in media planning and execution, ideally within both agency and client organizations.
  • 5+ Years of Leadership/Execution Experience.
  • Broad media planning and execution experience. Not seeking
  • candidates with majority of experience within a specific niche (digital, performance, etc.)
  • Big Name Brand Experience
  • Tech Experience is preferred (Exposure to Big Tech is helpful)
  • Agencies partnered w/ Big Tech. Media Conglomerates (Preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead strategy, planning, and implementation of
  • brand-focused paid media campaigns. Ability to navigate with agility.
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel media environments and current trends in media, measurement, and analytics. Data-Driven Analytical Skills
    • Ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative insights for audience segmentation, campaign optimization, and reporting.
    • Experience in measurement, analytics, and mining insights to develop compelling recommendations and perspectives.
    • Skilled in analyzing campaign performance against KPIs and driving actionable takeaways.

    Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

    • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional groups and influencing outcomes across diverse stakeholders (Marketing, Decision Science, Insights, Creative, Policy & Comms, agencies).
    • Experience managing media agencies and building strong partnerships to translate goals into integrated, data-driven programs.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment while managing multiple projects in parallel.
