Key Responsibilities
- Provide direction and support to project teams by translating business capabilities into well-defined projects/programs with clear objectives and deliverables.
- Visualize and communicate architecture concepts, principles, strategies, and models for programs, initiatives, and domains.
- Facilitate architecture discussions with cross-functional business sponsors and product lines to ensure alignment.
- Participate as a member or facilitator in relevant business/IT governance processes.
- Ensure alignment between architecture projects and standards and related IT projects and plans by working with appropriate IT and business management.
- Develop recommendations to improve the business value of IT projects and plans.
- Set direction and approve future state architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps for/across business functions.
- Drive architecture-related research to further mature architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps.
- Direct and approve innovations and/or prototypes based on research and approve recommendations on architecture, tools, methodologies, and/or processes.
- Facilitate architecture governance and ensure adherence to architecture standards.
- Obtain buy-in for architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps from appropriate business and IT leaders.
- Promote benefits and value of architecture and architecture management to business and IT senior management.
- Provide guidance on strategy and planning in support of overall prioritization and portfolio planning.
