Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary and highly technical PLM Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of our Dassault Systems 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform ecosystem. This role will serve as the primary architect for our Automotive Bill of Materials (BOM) management strategy, ensuring a Single Source of Truth across engineering, manufacturing, and IT. You will enable seamless data flow and manage high-variant configurations throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership & Strategy
- Define end-to-end PLM architecture on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (Cloud or On-Premise).
- Lead BOM Transformation strategy, synchronizing EBOM, MBOM, and SBOM.
- Architect solutions for Product Configuration and Variant Management to handle complex automotive option logic and 150% BOM structures.
Technical Design & Implementation
- Design data models, schema changes, and interface specifications within ENOVIA.
- Oversee integration of 3DX with downstream systems (ERP: SAP/Oracle) and legacy CAD environments (CATIA V5/V6).
- Conduct technical deep-dives into 3DX modules such as Product Configurator and Change Manager.
- Develop migration strategies for transitioning legacy BOM data into the 3DX environment.
Domain Excellence (Automotive BOM)
- Standardize Change Management processes (ECR/ECN) for global traceability.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering Leads and Manufacturing Engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide technical governance and mentorship to developers and system integrators.
Required Expertise
- Platform Mastery: 7–10 years in PLM; 5+ years on 3DEXPERIENCE (R2018x or higher).
- 3DX Modules: Deep knowledge of ENOVIA, Unified Architecture, and roles like Product Construct Engineer and Variant Management.
- BOM Management: Experience with multi-level BOMs, configurable modules, and effectivity.
- Development Skills: Proficiency in MQL, Java, POIs, and web services (REST/SOAP) for customization and integration.
Domain Knowledge
- Automotive Industry: Strong understanding of product development cycles and vehicle architecture.
- Configuration Logic: Expertise in complex Boolean logic for automotive marketing and engineering options.
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Preferred: Master’s Degree
