Location: Downers Grove, Illinois Type: Contract Job #101139 IT Project Manager Job Type: W2, Contract Job Location: Downers Grove, Illinois 60515  Pay Rate: $72 – $75 per hour   The IT Project Manager’s role is to successfully execute the client’s IT and Operating Companies’ initiatives using the established project management processes and tools. This is a senior-level project management position. The IT Project Manager will be managing critical client-wide IT projects. Projects can be from any of the groups within IT (Infrastructure, Analytics, Applications, Cyber, etc.). Clear communication, strong leadership, organization, and solid support skills are key characteristics of this role.   ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close assigned projects via the standard project methodology. Partner with the specific operating company or the client enterprise to position the project approach correctly. Ensure business cases are created, and value is measurable/tracked with the business owners. Ensure proper organization change management practices are utilized to accelerate user adoption. Resolve issues and support project progress through direct interaction with team members. Plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed. Collaborate with business leaders and peers in establishing best-fit practices. Appropriately influence leadership and peers to establish common processes. Communicate Vision (What we are working to achieve) and Strategy (how we get there) to leadership & peers. Communicate regularly with Business partners for awareness and improvement. Proficient with Agile delivery methodology and CI/CD tools.   POSITION SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: Engagement in industry practices (ERP/MES/CRM/PLM). Project/Program Management Experience is required. PMP or equivalent certification is preferred. The ability to utilize, refine, and support IT standards balanced with Operating Company needs is critical. Successful working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Vendor management skills and experience are required.   POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 7+ years’ experience in the management of projects in an IT environment. Experience with tools like Planview AdaptiveWork and Azure DevOps is required. 5+ years’ experience in leading large complex IT projects such as ERP implementation and/or CRM implementation working with strategic integrator partners. 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP solution and/or Salesforce is preferred. Demonstrated business support behavior (willingness to engage and “do” some of the work to achieve goals). Capability of communicating and engaging executive leadership with presentations and team discussions. A sense of urgency to drive performance and reliability for business operations. Ability to work after regular business hours to meet business needs.   WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position will be mostly working at the client’s Corporate Office in Downers Grove, IL. #LI-EP1
