Pay Range: 

$42.02 per hour 

 

Job Description:  
 

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Create new or modify existing cooling components and systems based on customer/project requirements 

  • Work as part of a project team to coordinate component/system development and determine project scope and limitations 

  • Review project requests describing customer needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish projects 

  • Design, develop, build, and implement new cooling system components, products, or technologies 

  • Create 3D design components/systems and support prototype building, testing, and analysis 

  • Communicate with customers and cross-functional engineering teams to develop production-ready products 

  • Assist with supplier development and supplier performance alongside supply specialists and buyers 

  • Oversee drafting and testing activities as needed 

  • Develop and document functional requirements and translate them into detailed design documentation 

  • Participate in buy-build analysis for product components 

  • Support proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports 

  • Test and evaluate alternative production methods and assist in building complex prototypes 

 

Skills: 

  • Strong proficiency in Creo (PTC Creo) for 3D modeling and drafting 

  • Experience creating and modifying 2D and 3D engineering drawings 

  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) 

  • Understanding of cooling systems, thermodynamics, or thermal technologies 

  • Ability to support the product development lifecycle (requirements ? design ? testing ? delivery) 

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability 

  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers 

 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 

  • 3–4 years of mechanical design experience 

  • Hands-on experience using Creo CAD software 

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks 

 

Preferred: 

  • Experience with prototype development and testing 

  • Exposure to supplier coordination or manufacturing environments 

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives and prioritize effectively 

 

Work Environment: 

  • Onsite, office/cubicle environment 

  • Daily interaction with internal teams and customers (in-person and virtual) 

  • Combination of independent work and collaborative project work
