Job Description:
The Dyno Test Technician is responsible for supporting and executing dynamometer testing for electrified vehicle power electronics, including inverters, converters, and charging systems. This role is highly hands-on, involving test setup, data collection, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure accurate test execution and continuous improvement of dyno operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute dynamometer testing (manual and automated) for electrified vehicle systems
- Set up test equipment, including mechanical and electrical installations
- Collaborate with engineering to review and validate test data
- Troubleshoot and maintain dyno cell equipment and operations
- Interpret test plans, specifications, and schedules to meet project milestones
- Support power analyzer and inverter test setups with engineering teams
- Ensure test data accuracy aligns with defined processes and quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned
- Adhere to high-voltage safety standards and procedures
- Communicate progress, risks, and deliverable status effectively with the team
