About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail?oriented Financial Operations Analyst to support backend operations for our clients Marketing team. This role plays a critical part in keeping marketing programs running smoothly, from program approvals to POs, inventory requests, contracts, and final invoice validation.
You’ll join a collaborative team of three, with extensive training and mentorship provided. This is not a marketing or creative role, it’s an operations and finance?focused support position within the marketing organization.
What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities (60–70% Invoice Management)
- Validate, process, and track vendor invoices
- Review Proof of Performance (PoP) to ensure accuracy, logic, and compliance
- Confirm spend matches approved budgets and aligns with program plans
Marketing Program Support
- Submit marketing program approvals through internal systems
- Work with legal to route contracts and obtain signatures
- Maintain accurate documentation for all marketing activities
Purchasing & Inventory
- Create purchase orders
- Coordinate with procurement, marketing leads, and supply chain
- Submit inventory requests and enter forecast data
- Higher volume during product launches
General Operations
- Ensure all processes, policies, and financial guidelines are followed
- Provide problem?solving support for discrepancies, vendor questions, and system issues
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience processing invoices in an operations or finance environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- (Updating documents, entering data; no pivot tables or advanced formulas needed)
- Ability to work cross?functionally within a large organization
- Strong problem?solving skills and the ability to validate data logically
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Finance or Accounting
- Experience supporting operations within marketing or a similar fast?paced team
- Familiarity with purchase order systems or inventory tools
