Maintenance & Logistics Coordinator (Customer Events Support)

About the Role
- Supports customer, dealer, and internal business partner events at a large demonstration and training facility
- Best described as a hands-on maintenance and logistics role, not event planning
- Responsible for ensuring classrooms, outdoor field locations, and facility assets are always show-ready for training events
- Plays a key role in maintaining a high-end, “country club” standard facility environment
- Works closely with Events and Facilities teams in a highly visible, customer-facing setting
Team and Assignment Structure
- Part of the onsite Events and Facilities operations team
- Supports daily customer and dealer training events across the facility
- Works closely with:
- Events coordinators
- Facilities and maintenance staff
- Safety partners
- External vendors
- New headcount supporting continued growth of onsite training programs
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and reconfigure classrooms and meeting spaces, including:
- Tables, chairs, and room layouts (classroom, conference, U-shape styles)
- Basic power and room setup support
- Prepare and maintain outdoor event fields where individuals are trained on heavy equipment
- Move, level, and set up executive portable restrooms, including:
- Hooking units to trucks
- Deploying jacks and ensuring proper leveling
- Coordinating with external vendors for servicing and location updates
- Operate forklifts and facility vehicles to move equipment and materials as needed
- Transport, position, fuel, and maintain generators (training provided on fuel and lube truck operation)
- Perform routine facility upkeep to maintain a clean, professional, customer-ready environment, including:
- Operating street sweeper equipment
- Cleaning concrete pads and parking areas
- Assist the facilities team with minor repairs and small facility improvement projects
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of experience in maintenance, logistics, facilities support, or similar hands-on roles
- Valid driver’s license required (must be able to legally operate vehicles)
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
Technical Skills
- Safe vehicle operation (trucks, forklifts, facility vehicles)
- Forklift operation experience
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting (generators, small equipment, vehicles)
- Truck and trailer operation familiarity
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Facility maintenance background
- Experience working in customer-facing or high-visibility environments
- Prior exposure to heavy equipment or industrial environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
