? About This Opportunity
Epitec is partnering with a Tier 1 automotive supplier that manages the complete suspension and overhead systems for OEMs such as GM, Ford, and Chrysler. We’re seeking experienced professionals for a direct?hire Materials Planning Supervisor role based on?site in Chicago, IL.

? What You’ll Do

Lead, mentor, and develop a materials planning team

Oversee planning, procurement, and material flow activities

Manage supplier performance and drive delivery improvements

Maintain accurate MRP/RPS system data and planning parameters

Support production scheduling and collaborate with cross?functional teams

Coordinate engineering changes and customer delivery updates

Manage JIT expediting, customs/brokerage requirements, and inventory accuracy

Resolve supplier discrepancies, obsolescence claims, and material issues

Execute special assignments and support documentation processes
? Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field

5+ years of materials management experience (automotive preferred)

Proficient with MRP systems, RPS, MS Office, and sequencing software

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
-
Assertive expediting capabilities and strong problem?solving skills

Professional certifications (CPM, APP, CPIM) are a plus
-
Valid driver’s license; up to 10% travel
