Job Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support turbocharger application engineering across NPI, CPI, and warranty analysis. This role is hands-on, collaborative, and essential to developing and improving turbocharger technologies used across Electric Power, Marine, Oil & Gas, and Machine industries.
Summary:
Mechanical Engineers in this role research, investigate, design, and analyze the functionality and performance of mechanical products, systems, and components. The ideal candidate will bring technical depth, practical mechanical experience, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Research, design, develop, and test mechanical devices including tools, engines, and machines.
- Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to assess feasibility, timing, and cost.
- Investigate equipment failures, troubleshoot operational issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support warranty reviews and root cause investigations.
- Assist in structural design development alongside drafting teams.
- Support Gas NPI programs to help bring new products to market.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and external partners.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering / Engineering Technology
- 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.

- Strong verbal and written communication
- Project management capability (supplier communication, timeline management, risk mitigation)
Additional Technical Skills:
- CAD proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical data
- NPI experience
- GD&T experience
- APQP familiarity
- Experience with warranty analysis highly preferred
