HR Investigator – Onsite (Chicago, IL)
Location: Chicago Assembly Plant – 12600 S. Torrence Ave, Chicago, IL 60633
Schedule: Full-time, onsite; must be flexible for occasional evening/weekend shift investigations.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Investigator to conduct thorough workplace investigations, gather statements from hourly employees, maintain detailed case documentation, and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture. This role is fully onsite and requires strong confidentiality, communication, and typing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations into workplace concerns raised through internal channels.
- Interview hourly employees and accurately document real-time statements.
- Prepare, track, and maintain all investigation documentation.
- Handle sensitive employee information with strict confidentiality.
- Support a healthy, inclusive work environment that balances employee advocacy with company values.
- Partner with salaried personnel as needed.
- Support employee health and safety requirements.

Required Experience
- 5+ years conducting investigations (interviewing, case management, dispositioning)

Education Requirements
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
