| Duties: | Responsible for translating business requirements into detailed specifications and writing program codes; develop prototypes based on functional systems requirements; develop production ready solutions; design solutions that consider reuse opportunities and meet usability guidelines and corporate standards; create testing strategy, test cases, and test data as per system dependencies; complete functional testing in Dev/QA/ Production environments; run defect triage meetings for issue spotting; support production system functionality issue resolution testing, including UAT; maintain systems once they are up and running; prepare training manuals for users; coordinate and maintain critical system performance characteristics, security measures and other application development considerations; utilize and apply knowledge of JavaScript, AWS, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, Java, React.js, Python and XML to perform assigned duties; present ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals; write and execute SQL queries to analyze data; assist in providing development estimates to Product and Program Managers; and ensure adherence to appropriate standards and processes. | Minimum Qualifications: | Education: Masters Degree – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree); Training: None; Experience: None; Other Requirements: Must have completed one (1) academic semester of coursework or research that included use of all the following: JavaScript, AWS, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, Java, React.js, Python and XML. Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience. |
