About the Role
We’re looking for an HR Coordinator – Attendance Specialist to support a fast-paced, unionized manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate administration of attendance programs and leave policies while building strong relationships across teams.

Location: Flat Rock
Schedule: onsite 6:00 AM to 02:30 PM
Contract: Long term open ended
Compensation: $23.65/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Manage attendance programs, FMLA, medical leave, and tardiness processes
- Create daily attendance reports and provide status updates
- Conduct attendance meetings with employees and union representatives
- Administer corrective discipline and update attendance records
- Audit coding for attendance and leave; act as SME for policy interpretation
- Liaise with medical and labor relations teams; support payroll as needed
Qualifications
Required:
? High School Diploma/GED
? Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel – intermediate/advanced)
? Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Preferred:
? Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
? Experience in unionized manufacturing environments
? Leadership and conflict resolution skills
