Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Corporate Real Estate to oversee the full lifecycle of real estate portfolio management, leasing coordination, and corporate interior construction projects. This role is responsible for programming, design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and project delivery, ensuring all initiatives align with corporate standards and business objectives.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in workplace planning, commercial interiors, real estate operations, and cross-functional project leadership. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex projects independently are essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead programming and requirements development for commercial and office interior construction projects.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and overall execution from planning through closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, steering committees, and project teams.
  • Coordinate selection and ongoing management of architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
  • Partner with Facility Teams, end?users, and design groups to create design concepts, space plans, renderings, and furniture layouts.
  • Oversee all design phases including preliminary, alternate, and full construction documentation.
  • Review contracts, cost estimates, change orders, and tenant improvement reimbursement packages.
  • Conduct routine site observations and oversee QA/QC during design and construction phases.
  • Resolve design, construction, and field issues to maintain alignment with approved standards.
  • Deliver regular project status updates and reporting to leadership teams.
  • Support financial leadership by ensuring adherence to approved budgets and schedules.
  • Contribute insights to elevate workplace strategy, standards, and sustainability goals.
  • Assist with real estate administration and leasing activities including requirements gathering, site selection, negotiations, renewals, expansions, contractions, subleases, dispositions, and early terminations (approx. 50%).

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in workplace planning, commercial interior design, and construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural and construction processes, including construction documents and MEP systems.
  • Proven track record managing schedules, budgets, contractors, and consultants.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and commitment to team success.
