Events & Engagement Manager 

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite, 5 days/week)

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an Events & Engagement Manager to lead strategy, planning, and execution of internal and external events for the Mobile B2B (MX) organization. This role is responsible for delivering high-impact tradeshows, customer events, leadership meetings, and employee engagement programs, on time, on budget, and to scope.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, highly organized events leader with strong executive presence, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record managing large-scale, complex events in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Mobile B2B events and engagement programs, including:
    • Tradeshows
    • Client-hosted customer events
    • Leadership team meetings
    • Internal employee engagement activities
  • Own event strategy, logistics, budgeting, and execution, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
  • Develop and present marketing briefs, project plans, timelines, and funding requests
  • Manage event budgets and Mobile B2B funding; track spend and ROI by event
  • Build and maintain a centralized events & engagement calendar
  • Partner cross-functionally with:
    • Mobile B2B teams
    • Marketing
    • B2C Retail
    • Corporate teams
    • Suwon/global stakeholders
  • Manage vendors, agencies, and partners, including contracts and performance
  • Support virtual and hybrid meetings (WebEx), including:
    • Screen sharing
    • Recording
    • Polling
    • Breakout rooms
  • Create and manage reporting dashboards to measure program effectiveness
  • Provide post-event reporting, including attendance, engagement metrics, and lessons learned
  • Document and improve processes and best practices for events and engagement programs
  • Build strong working relationships across our clients business units (Consumer, Networks, Display, etc.)

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience leading events and engagement programs
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex events end-to-end
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Experience collaborating across highly cross-functional teams
  • Data-driven mindset with focus on metrics and reporting
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence at all levels
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting B2B organizations
  • Background in technology, consumer electronics, or enterprise marketing
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent events and budgets
  • Familiarity with internal creative teams, agencies, and marketing platforms
