Epitec is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support daily operations of our client in the Energy/Utilities industry.
- This is an ongoing W2 contract
- This is an onsite position in Jackson, MI
Top Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support while training into higher-level support tasks
- Perform typing, filing, dictation, data entry, routine calculations, and quality checks
- Prepare and maintain daily production and routine reports
- Create, format, and distribute forms, reports, diagrams, and other documentation
- Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings with multiple attendees and resolving conflicts
- Coordinate travel arrangements and office space logistics
- Assist visitors and support general office operations
- Support presentation development using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Operate standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, and plotters
- Perform miscellaneous office tasks as needed while following company policies and procedures
Top Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; Outlook calendaring experience preferred)
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Experience managing complex calendars and scheduling meetings for multiple participants
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills
- Experience tracking, maintaining, and reporting on inventories or office materials
- Results-oriented, highly motivated, and team-focused mindset
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with Visio and OneNote
- SAP experience (front or back office)
- Experience operating plotters and scanners
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities
