IT Operations Support Specialist

Location: Dearborn, MI 48124
Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days onsite

Position Description: 
The IT Business Operations Analyst plays a key role at the heart of a large-scale enterprise technology team. Partnering with the IS IT Business Operations Lead, you’ll help organize, support, and monitor the operations and performance of the Industrial Systems IT Leadership Team (~2,000 global team members). You’ll support rhythm-of-business activities, leadership communications, KPI tracking, and executive update prep that align to the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run R.O.B. (Rhythm-of-Business): Support daily/weekly operations for IS IT business activities; ensure meeting cadences, artifacts, and follow-ups are consistent and timely.
  • Monthly Performance Reporting: Partner with stakeholders to develop monthly updates and metrics; consolidate into corporate-standard report-out artifacts.
  • Leadership Meeting Support: Plan agendas, coordinate materials, capture actions, and track follow-through for Industrial Systems IT leadership meetings.
  • Executive Communications: Co-create executive updates and decks covering operational health, accomplishments, objectives-to-key-results, strategy, and roadmaps.
  • Enterprise Communications: Develop, publish, and distribute communications that improve knowledge-sharing and awareness of IS IT strategies, roadmaps, activities, and wins.
  • KPI & Metric Tracking: Assist IS IT teams in monitoring business performance metrics; ensure targets remain on track through year-end; flag variances early.
  • Portfolio Big-Picture Monitoring: Help leadership maintain a holistic view of deliverables and timelines so teams stay focused on the right work at the right time.
  • Quarterly Offsites: Participate in planning logistics, content, and outcomes for quarterly leadership offsites.
  • Initiative Health: Monitor activities and metrics for key IS IT initiatives; surface risks, dependencies, and blockers.
  • Strategic Topics Reviews: Support scheduling and preparation for bi-weekly IS IT strategic topic reviews; track decisions and actions.
  • Objectives & Milestones: Monitor objectives, milestones, and KPI’s; engage owners when issues or blockers arise and facilitate resolution.

Required Skills

  • Tools: Jira; Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook; Word
  • Analytics & Reporting: Ad hoc reporting; business analytics; data analysis; dashboards (e.g., Power BI/Tableau experience a plus)
  • Business Ops: Budgeting; budgets/timing management
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communications; executive-ready slide creation; stakeholder updates

Experience — Required

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT Business Operations within a large enterprise.
  • Proven ability to coordinate, organize, and host leadership meetings and events.
  • Inclusive collaborator who builds strong relationships across levels and functions.
  • Experience crafting internal communications for IT leadership teams.
  • Success supporting IT leadership in daily operations to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally in a matrixed, multi-national environment.

Experience — Preferred

  • Prior experience in an Industrial Systems / manufacturing IT environment.
  • Track record driving metric/KPI frameworks and monthly/quarterly business reviews (MBR/QBR).
  • Experience orchestrating leadership offsites and strategic topic reviews.

Education

  • Required: Associate Degree
  • Preferred: Associate Degree (or higher in Business, Communications, or IT-related field)
