Role: Mechanical Systems Engineer
Location: Ottumwa, IA (Fully Onsite)
Pay: $37hr

We’re looking for a Mechanical Systems Engineer to join the team supporting Windrower Platform production at a well-known fortune 500 company located in Ottumwa Works. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide design support and troubleshooting for production line issues
- Evaluate and recommend design improvements for cost, quality, and performance
- Analyze and execute test plans for product validation
- Determine engineering specifications for routine problems/projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and supply chain
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering (or similar)
- ~1–3 years of engineering or technical experience (internships count)
- Experience with CAD tools (Creo preferred or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours to support production needs
- Experience with product validation & verification
- Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP
- Exposure to assembly line processes or weld documentation
