Parts Business Analyst
Job Type: W2 Contract
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Approx.)
Work Location: Ottumwa, Iowa 52501
Work Setting: On-Site, First Shift (Standard 40 hrs/week)
Pay Rate: $27-28/hr.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Business Analyst to support parts operations and inventory management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring timely order processing, supporting urgent customer needs, and driving inventory efficiency initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and prioritize urgent “machine down” customer orders to minimize downtime
- Support inventory improvement initiatives, including obsolescence reduction and scrap management
- Manage and execute receipt/action key transactions within internal systems
- Oversee drop-in orders for manufactured parts
- Coordinate Initial Service Order (ISO) shipments directly from the factory
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order flow and on-time delivery
Required Qualifications
- Experience with SAP and related systems (CWIS/DNS preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Self-starter with a strong initiative and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
