Warehouse Quality Inspector

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $25.25/hour
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for supporting quality assurance activities within a warehouse and distribution environment. The position ensures accuracy in order fulfillment, compliance with packaging standards, and proper documentation to support shipment quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify picking accuracy by confirming part numbers and quantities
- Perform inspections of picked and packed materials to ensure quality and accuracy
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate, detailed records
- Identify and report internal and external defects; support root cause analysis efforts
- Inspect packaging to ensure compliance with established requirements and reduce risk of damage during transit
- Coordinate with inspection and warehouse teams to support timely shipment processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues related to picking and packing
- Review and gather required product documentation, including material test reports and shipment-related documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality function
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures during all inspection activities
- Work with documentation teams to ensure required inspection reports and supporting documents meet customer requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or warehouse processes
- Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate documentation
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or quality environment
