Epitec is seeking to hire a Test Engineer II supporting a cutting-edge aerospace program focused on high-risk test and development operations.

This role is focused on testing, validation, and execution of test campaigns across mechanical, hydraulic, cryogenic, and pneumatic systems.

This position directly contributes to advanced aerospace system development, requiring strong attention to safety, precision, and repeatable testing in high-risk environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute component and subassembly test campaigns

  • Support testing of mechanical, actuated, hydraulic, cryogenic, and pneumatic systems

  • Develop and maintain detailed test procedures

  • Conduct test readiness reviews and pre-test briefings

  • Analyze results and perform data validation and reporting

  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis

  • Ensure testing aligns with strict safety standards and repeatability requirements


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–7+ years of test engineering or related experience

  • Experience working with fluid systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, cryogenic)

  • Strong understanding of instrumentation and test setups

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and system diagrams

  • Experience developing test procedures and documentation

  • Background in high-reliability or regulated environments


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Aerospace or Defense industry experience

  • Experience with launch systems, propulsion, or spaceflight-related hardware

  • Hands-on experience in production or manufacturing test environments
