Epitec is seeking to hire a Subcontract Administrator III to support a private American space technology company’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) team, focused on New Product Integration (NPI).

This is a hands-on, high-impact procurement role responsible for owning the full cradle-to-grave subcontracting lifecycle, ensuring materials, components, and services are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

The ideal candidate will bring strong aerospace procurement experience, with a proven ability to track supplier performance, drive deliverables, and operate within cross-functional IPT environments.

W2 Contract: W2 Contract with strong potential for conversion to Direct Hire
Pay Range: Market Rate

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end subcontracting lifecycle: sourcing, RFQs, negotiation, award, execution, and closeout

  • Support New Product Integration (NPI) by onboarding new suppliers and components

  • Execute procurement for hardware, materials, and services

  • Track and proactively follow up on supplier commitments, deliveries, and risks

  • Partner within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to align procurement with program needs

  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, terms, and conditions

  • Manage supplier performance, escalations, and corrective actions

  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, documentation, and reporting

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within SCM


Minimum Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of subcontracting, procurement, or purchasing experience

  • Aerospace industry experience REQUIRED

  • Proven cradle-to-grave procurement ownership

  • Strong supplier follow-up and delivery tracking experience

  • Experience working in cross-functional IPT environments

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work onsite (Kent, WA or Florida)

  • Must be a U.S. Person (export control compliance)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting New Product Integration (NPI)

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Costpoint)

  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations

  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills

  • Experience in high-growth aerospace or manufacturing environments
