Senior Finance Analyst

Location: Lisle, IL (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $43.00 – $47.00/hour
Duration: 8 months

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support key financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions. This role will partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insights, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, excels in financial modeling, and can operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and modeling to support business and operational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain financial plans, budgets, and management reporting packages.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Interpret financial reports and support strategic business initiatives through data-driven insights.
  • Maintain accounting and financial records, including general ledger-related reporting and financial statements.
  • Assist with the development and enforcement of accounting policies, financial controls, and compliance procedures.
  • Prepare regulatory, management, and ad hoc financial reports.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support cross-functional teams with financial analysis and decision support.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong financial analysis and financial modeling experience.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex business situations.
  • Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and business principles.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, financial models, and data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

This is a temporary contract opportunity providing coverage for a leave of absence and is expected to continue through approximately early April 2027.
