Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or Related Field
• 2 – 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles
Summary:
This role supports the Client’s Accounts Payable team with a focus on bank detail management, fraud prevention, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will lead audits, enhance internal policies, and develop training materials to improve operational efficiency. You’ll collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement strategic solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Administer vendor bank details and support fraud detection
• Review and update policies to reduce risk
• Conduct company-wide and individual training sessions
• Report on risk areas like duplicate payments and delayed invoices
• Lead AP-related projects and serve as liaison across departments
• Gather business requirements and manage project documentation
• Support AP functions including invoice audits, approvals, and system tools
• Analyze business needs and deliver actionable insights
• Track project deliverables, budgets, and expenses
• Prepare presentations and documentation in MS Office
• Create manuals, policies, and training materials
• Assist manager with project-related tasks
Must-Have Skills:
• Financial investigation and audit experience
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and think outside the box
• Experience creating manuals, guides, and training materials
• Intermediate Excel skills; Excel programming a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP, WebEx, and internal systems
• Strategic thinker with strong decision-making skills
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects
