Material Coordinator II – Supply Chain & Production Support

? Davenport, IA (Onsite) ? $27 – $32/hour ? Full-Time Contract | 12-Month Assignment ? Target Start Date: September 2026

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Coordinator II to support manufacturing and supply chain operations in a fast-paced production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in materials planning, inventory management, logistics, operations, production control, or supply chain coordination who enjoy solving problems and keeping operations running efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the flow of materials to support production schedules
  • Monitor inventory levels and resolve material shortages
  • Work closely with Operations, Production, Supply Management, and Logistics teams
  • Analyze inventory and production data to ensure part availability
  • Support scheduling and planning activities within the manufacturing environment
  • Utilize SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems to manage materials and inventory
  • Investigate root causes of shortages and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure accurate inventory transactions and material movements
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Materials, Operations, Inventory, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Production Planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • SAP, MRP, or ERP experience is highly preferred
  • Military logistics or operations experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but equivalent experience will be considered

Schedule & Work Environment

  • 1st Shift Schedule
  • Typical work week is 40 hours, but overtime may be required based on business needs
  • Typical work weeks can range from 40-50 hours
  • Occasional weekend work may be required
  • 100% onsite position
  • Metatarsal safety boots required
