Job Description:
Overview
Our client is seeking a Service Parts Analyst to join their aftersales team supporting vehicle service parts for North American operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate parts catalog information, analyzing engineering and technical data, and helping dealerships identify and order the correct replacement parts for vehicle repairs.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong technical background who enjoy problem-solving, working with engineering data, and collaborating across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Review new model service parts and engineering changes for inclusion in catalog systems.
  • Analyze and interpret engineering documents, technical specifications, drawings, and CAD data.
  • Develop and maintain accurate parts catalog information and illustration layouts.
  • Investigate and resolve technical inquiries related to parts identification, catalog discrepancies, and service part availability.
  • Maintain parts registration data, supersessions, restrictions, and service files.
  • Partner with engineering, supply chain, purchasing, pricing, manufacturing, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy.
  • Research root causes of parts-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

Qualifications
Required

  • 2+ years of experience in technical, parts, service, manufacturing, engineering support, supply chain, or related environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with technical documentation, drawings, BOMs, product data, or engineering information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work the required schedule of 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with CAD software (viewing/interpreting models and drawings).
  • Knowledge of service parts, spare parts, product catalogs, or product lifecycle data.
  • Automotive, industrial equipment, agricultural machinery, appliance manufacturing, or mechanical product experience.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude and understands how products are assembled and serviced. Experience with technical products, engineering drawings, service parts, BOMs, CAD data, or product information management is highly valued.
