Epitec is seeking to support a private American space technology company in identifying an experienced Subcontract Administrator II/III to support subcontract management operations involving large aerospace components, cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels, major fabricated assemblies, long-term agreements (LTAs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and milestone-based Statements of Work (SOWs).

The ideal candidate will bring strong procurement and contract administration expertise, experience negotiating complex supplier agreements, and the ability to manage high-value subcontract relationships in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Subcontract Administration

  • Administer the full lifecycle of complex indirect subcontracts from solicitation through closeout.

  • Manage high-value subcontracts involving large aerospace components and assemblies.

  • Develop, issue, and evaluate RFPs.

  • Conduct proposal evaluations and cost/price analyses.

  • Ensure subcontract terms align with company policies and prime contract flow-down requirements.

Large Component & Major Procurement

  • Support procurement and subcontract administration activities for:

    • Cryogenic tanks

    • Pressure vessels

    • Large fabricated structures

    • Major aerospace hardware assemblies

  • Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to define technical requirements.

  • Develop long-lead procurement strategies for critical components.

Long-Term Agreements & Master Service Agreements

  • Negotiate and administer:

    • Long-Term Agreements (LTAs)

    • Master Service Agreements (MSAs)

  • Develop pricing structures and performance frameworks.

  • Manage amendments, renewals, and modifications.

Terms & Conditions Management

  • Draft, review, and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.

  • Mitigate contractual risk and protect company interests.

  • Coordinate with Contracts and Legal teams on complex issues.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

Milestone-Based Statement of Work Management

  • Develop milestone-based Statements of Work.

  • Establish deliverables, performance milestones, and payment schedules.

  • Monitor milestone achievement and payment authorization.

  • Manage subcontractor performance against contractual deliverables.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop strategic supplier relationships.

  • Resolve schedule, scope, performance, and cost issues.

  • Conduct supplier performance reviews.

  • Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain complete subcontract documentation.

  • Support audits and compliance reviews.

  • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and applicable regulations.


Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Level II: 3+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience.

  • Level III: 5+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience.

  • Experience administering complex subcontracts.

  • Experience negotiating subcontract terms and conditions.

  • Experience managing long-term supplier agreements.

  • Experience with milestone-based Statements of Work.

  • Experience administering performance-based payment structures.

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Experience using ERP/procurement systems such as:

    • SAP

    • Oracle

    • Coupa

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience procuring:

    • Cryogenic tanks

    • Pressure vessels

    • Large fabricated structures

    • Major assemblies

  • Aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing experience.

  • Experience with LTAs and MSAs.

  • Familiarity with:

    • ITAR

    • EAR

    • Aerospace procurement compliance requirements

    • Aerospace quality requirements

  • Professional certifications:

    • CPSM

    • CPM

    • NCMA CFCM

    • NCMA CPCM

    • Equivalent procurement certifications
