Mark Ruma is Epitec’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer. He has worked at the company since 1997, focused on excellence in finance, technology, human resources, and operationally supporting sales and recruiting to elevate Epitec as one of the largest and fastest-growing staffing firms in the United States.
As an executive, Mark sets strategic and operational plans to differentiate Epitec’s services from other staffing companies. He leads innovative solutions to scale and improve all aspects of Epitec’s operations while safeguarding Epitec’s assets and talented employees. Mark possesses a deep curiosity and understanding of delivering functional systems and processes at the intersection of staffing, IT, and human-centered experience. He uses his domain expertise in recruiting, technology, accounting, and business operations, along with an eagerness to build high-performing teams to achieve excellence and growth for the company and our people.
In the community, Mark serves on the Detroit-based Cass Community Social Services board and its finance committee, and he co-chairs the Cass Annual Golf Outing. Cass leverages a person-centered philosophy to provide food, housing, health services, and job programs.
