Executive Project Specialist / Strategic Planning & Analytics

Summary Provides executive-level project management, strategic analysis, and decision support for the President and Executive Leadership Team. Leads complex projects from concept through implementation, develops executive-ready recommendations, and collaborates across the organization to support strategic initiatives, performance improvement efforts, and organizational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Industry Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze local and national healthcare trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies.
  • Evaluate strategic implications and provide recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Develop white papers, business cases, and strategic planning documents to support organizational initiatives.

Executive Analytics & Decision Support

  • Conduct data analysis and performance reviews to support strategic projects and organizational goals.
  • Track, monitor, and report progress against key initiatives and performance metrics.
  • Independently respond to executive requests for data, research, and business insights.

Project & Program Management

  • Lead projects from initiation through implementation and completion.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed work plans, project schedules, status reports, and realization plans.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide ongoing project tracking, analysis, and risk management.
  • Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and organizational objectives.

Executive Communications & Reporting

  • Create executive-level presentations, reports, and written materials requiring minimal revisions.
  • Translate complex data and findings into concise, actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Present project updates, findings, and strategic recommendations to senior executives.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with stakeholders across departments to drive project success and organizational alignment.
  • Collaborate with end users, project sponsors, senior leadership, and operational teams.
  • Recommend solutions to significant organizational challenges and lead implementation efforts.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to junior project managers and team members.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 1+ year of experience in project management, strategic planning, healthcare operations, analytics, or executive support functions.

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related field).
