Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Equipment: Candidate must provide their own equipment
Pay Rate: $28.00/hr.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to support data-related projects by analyzing, validating, organizing, and improving data quality across multiple systems and information sources. This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large datasets, spreadsheets, databases, and case management systems while effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, review, and validate data across databases, spreadsheets, reports, case management systems, and other data sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Investigate data discrepancies, anomalies, missing information, and quality issues to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
  • Manipulate and analyze large datasets using Microsoft Excel and other available tools.
  • Organize, reconcile, summarize, and present information for operational and management use.
  • Maintain reports, spreadsheets, tracking tools, and other methods used to monitor data quality, project progress, trends, and outcomes.
  • Update and maintain information within databases and case management systems based on verified information and established processes.
  • Support data-focused projects by gathering requirements, understanding business needs, determining analytical approaches, and delivering accurate results.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews and identify opportunities to improve data integrity, processes, documentation, and reporting.
  • Document analytical methods, findings, limitations, discrepancies, and completed work to ensure repeatable and auditable results.
  • Communicate findings, concerns, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential information in accordance with organizational policies and data security requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Management, Database Analysis, System Improvement Projects, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve data issues.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
    • Formulas
    • Filtering & Sorting
    • Lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
    • PivotTables
    • Large Dataset Analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies, trends, outliers, and data quality concerns.
  • Experience working with data across multiple systems, databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar systems, business processes, and data structures.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and projects.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with case management systems.
  • Experience supporting process improvement initiatives and data quality programs.
  • Project management experience.
