Pay Range: $50-$55 per hour

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced AI Security Policy & Standards Consultant to lead the development of enterprise AI security policies, standards, governance requirements, and control frameworks that support the secure adoption of AI technologies across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in AI governance, cybersecurity policy development, regulatory compliance, and risk management within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise AI security policies, standards, procedures, and governance documentation.
  • Assess existing AI governance artifacts and identify gaps against leading industry frameworks and best practices.
  • Define security requirements for Generative AI platforms, AI agents, large language models (LLMs), AI APIs, model development environments, and third-party AI providers.
  • Establish AI security controls addressing prompt injection, data leakage prevention, model security, secure AI development, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Create standards mappings, control libraries, implementation guidance, and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with Security, Risk Management, Privacy, Compliance, Legal, and Technology stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on AI governance, AI security risks, emerging threats, and responsible AI practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience developing cybersecurity policies, standards, control frameworks, or technology governance requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI governance, AI security, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), cybersecurity frameworks, and AI-specific security controls.
  • Experience developing enterprise security standards in regulated industries.
  • Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), MITRE ATLAS, OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, and ISO 42001.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CGRC, CISM, or AIGP.
  • Experience supporting enterprise AI governance, security, and risk management initiatives.
