Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $46.00 – $48.50/hr.

Position Overview

We are seeking an OFP Quality Engineer to support a Front-End Equipment Assembly business unit. This role is responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction while ensuring products meet established quality standards and customer requirements throughout production and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects related to safety, quality, efficiency, and cost improvements.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
  • Ensure products meet established quality standards and customer requirements throughout production and delivery.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and supplier quality teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Utilize SAP, MPPlanner, and JDAAT to perform engineering functions.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work off shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with production teams and external suppliers.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage and execute a variety of tasks.
  • Experience in one or more engineering disciplines, including industrial, reliability, design, manufacturing, or quality engineering.
  • Experience using engineering tools, systems, and databases.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Shop floor experience in a union environment.
  • Experience with CVML, torque tooling, or other mistake-proofing tools.
  • Experience with JDAAT coding and MES systems such as SAP and Ignition.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Creo View software.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, data analytics, or equivalent related work experience.
  • Other qualified candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
