Title: Process Engineer

Pay Rate: 40.00 – 43.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
Normal hours are 6am-2pm
2nd shift requirements may be needed on occasion, 11am – 7pm

Job Summary
The SAP EWM Warehouse Process Engineer will support warehouse operations in Mattoon, IL by serving as the on-site SAP EWM subject matter expert. This role will optimize receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes, support employee training, analyze operational data, and drive improvements in productivity, quality, delivery, safety, and cost.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary SAP EWM transactional expert for warehouse operations.
- Define, support, and improve receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Troubleshoot system and operational issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Analyze warehouse performance data and create visualizations to identify improvement opportunities.
- Train warehouse employees on SAP EWM transactions, processes, and best practices.
- Partner with warehouse associates, supervisors, engineers, and leadership to improve operational performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, delivery, safety, and cost.
- Monitor KPIs and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance warehouse efficiency.
Years of Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
- Hands-on experience supporting SAP EWM within a warehouse environment.
- Experience with process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
