Job Title: Software Engineer II
Schedule: Remote (PST working hours)

Compensation: $78-82/hr. W2
Overview
We are seeking a Temporary Software Engineer to support project-based engineering initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, maintain, and improve software systems while delivering well-defined project objectives and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software features and enhancements aligned with project requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code following established engineering standards.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product, design, data, and security teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for software implementations.
- Support operational excellence through monitoring, incident response, performance optimization, and system maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience developing and evaluating machine learning models, particularly classification models.
- Experience building, deploying, or supporting machine learning systems in production environments.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Go, or similar.
- Experience building, testing, and maintaining production-quality software.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at large-scale technology companies.
- Background in machine learning infrastructure, model deployment, or production ML systems.
- Experience contributing to highly scalable software platforms and services.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
