Mechanical Assembler
Location: Minden, Nevada
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Contract Duration: 1- year, with possible extension, W2
Pay: $21.79/hr
We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly, testing, and preparation of mechanical equipment. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who is comfortable working with tools, following detailed instructions, and maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components according to bill of material (BOM) requirements.
- Perform functional testing on completed mechanical assemblies.
- Assemble and test equipment according to customer and operational requirements.
- Operate test equipment in accordance with engineering standards.
- Apply equipment settings and perform basic calibration as required.
- Maintain assembly tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Prepare completed assemblies and equipment for shipment.
- Follow established safety, quality, and work instructions throughout the assembly process.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of relevant mechanical, manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Safety Requirements
- Safety boots required.
- Safety glasses required.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has previous hands-on mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience, is comfortable using tools and test equipment, and can consistently follow detailed assembly and testing procedures while maintaining safety and quality standards.
