Job Title: Business Analyst IV
Contract Duration: 6 months, possible extension
Location: Burlingame, CA
Work Arrangement: Remote (West Coast Preferred)
Summary
As a Business Analyst , you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and product performance. Your primary focus will be on providing data-driven insights to inform category management decisions, optimize product assortment, and improve overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Research
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the MR and Wearables categories
- Analyze competitor activity, market share, and pricing strategies
- Identify emerging technologies and innovations that may impact the categories
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to sales, inventory, and customer behavior
- Create, Develop and maintain reports and visualizations to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders
- Identify areas of opportunity and provide recommendations for improvement
Skills
- 6-8 years’ experience in business analytics, marketing or supply chain in an operational capacity. Need to have data proficiency.
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Strong ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
- Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
