Job Title: Business Analyst IV
Contract Duration: 6 months, possible extension
Location: Burlingame, CA
Work Arrangement: Remote (West Coast Preferred)

Summary
As a Business Analyst , you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and product performance. Your primary focus will be on providing data-driven insights to inform category management decisions, optimize product assortment, and improve overall business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis and Research
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the MR and Wearables categories
  • Analyze competitor activity, market share, and pricing strategies
  • Identify emerging technologies and innovations that may impact the categories
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to sales, inventory, and customer behavior
  • Create, Develop and maintain reports and visualizations to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders
  • Identify areas of opportunity and provide recommendations for improvement

Skills

  • 6-8 years’ experience in business analytics, marketing or supply chain in an operational capacity. Need to have data proficiency.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Strong ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
  • Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
