Job Title: Compliance Specialist
Contract Duration: 6 months, possible extension

Summary
The main function of the Compliance Specialist is to ensure arrange, conduct and monitor compliance testing, audits, and investigations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and test controls and processes. Monitor and advise on remediation activities.
- Report on control/process documentation, efficacy, performance, and metrics.
- Conduct analysis to identify trends/anomalies, and develop associated programs.
- Develop playbooks and KPIs to ensure assurance process excellence and effective and efficient utilization of vendor resources.
- Partner with stakeholders on process automation, optimization, tooling and automation in support of core assurance processes.
Skills
- One or more relevant professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CMA, CA/CPA, etc.).
- Experience with compliance assurance in large, tech-driven organizations, performing risk assessments, and identifying associated controls across all areas of the business.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance testing methodologies, and risk management principles, with experience engaging with and building strategic relationships with regulators.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, including ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
Education/Experience
- CISSP or CISA certification preferred
Must Have Skills
