Pay Rate: Up to $65.51/hour, depending on experience and chosen benefits

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and driven Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming real-world data into actionable insights and innovative solutions. You will work across the entire data science lifecycle—from understanding complex business challenges to deploying robust models that drive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire, clean, and process messy, real-world data from various sources.
  • Conduct rigorous Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and formulate hypotheses.
  • Translate business questions into well-defined data science problems.
  • Develop, train, and evaluate statistical and machine learning models for prediction, classification, clustering, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy models into production environments.
  • Communicate findings and model results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Iterate on models based on performance feedback and evolving business needs.
  • Stay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and relevant technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, SQL).
  • Experience with EDA and model development (statistical modeling, machine learning).
  • Ability to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or similar data science programming languages.
  • Familiarity with model deployment processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.

Education:

  • Required: Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Preferred: PhD in a quantitative discipline.
