Senior Compensation Analyst
Job Type: W2, 6-month Contract

As a Senior Compensation Analyst Contractor, you will provide expert-level support in designing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs that align with business objectives. This role is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills and strategic compensation experience who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze market data to determine competitive compensation rates and practices
- Conduct job evaluations and market pricing using survey data and analytics tools
- Design and maintain compensation structures, salary bands, and incentive plans
- Advise HR and business leaders on pay decisions and compensation strategy
- Participate in compensation surveys and interpret results to inform pay practices
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations
- Support compensation-related projects (e.g., M&A, reorganizations, system implementations)
- Provide strategic insights through data modeling and analysis
- Run reports and audit data to support annual compensation review cycles
- Collaborate with HRIS teams to ensure accurate compensation data in systems
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on compensation trends and insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in compensation analysis or related HR function
- Global compensation experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle)
- Strong understanding of compensation theory, practices, and legal compliance
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information
