SUMMARY:

Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Attorney to join their legal team.
This remote position involves representing insured clients and the company in a variety of legal matters, including bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, subrogation claims, and Financial cases.
The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic legal environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Represent insured individuals and the company in legal proceedings including trials, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
Prepare and argue pre-trial and post-trial motions.
Assist colleagues with calendar conflicts and case coordination.
Provide legal counsel to internal business clients on day-to-day operational issues.
Lead and support legal projects through effective project management and cross-functional collaboration.
Monitor and analyze new laws, regulations, and case law developments.
Summarize and communicate relevant legal updates to internal stakeholders.
Advise business units on the impact of legal changes and ensure compliance.
Collaborate with other teams within the Legal & Regulatory department to ensure cohesive legal strategy and support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 5-9 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or related fields.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
