Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at the Fort Worth, TX SPM nursing clinic. This role involves providing clinical support to employees, managing wellness initiatives, and overseeing occupational health programs. The position includes some on-call responsibilities (5 days a week for 1st shift) and requires working independently within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic occupational nursing care and triage for workplace injuries.
- Administer drug testing programs and post-offer physicals.
- Conduct surveillance exams and wellness evaluations.
- Serve as CPR/First Aid trainer for the Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) program.
- Lead monthly wellness initiatives and return-to-work assessments.
- Support non-occupational illness evaluations and promote employee wellness.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration with employees and team members.
Years of Experience and Education
- Required Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: Texas RN compact license required.
- Experience: 3–5 years of Emergency or Clinic nursing experience.
