Technical Project Manager

Employment Type: W2 Contract, 3 months
Pay: $73-75/hr
Overview:
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact projects and Agile value streams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at cross-functional leadership, and is passionate about delivering technology-driven solutions that enhance enterprise productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology-based solutions using SDLC and Agile methodologies (SAFe, Waterfall).
- Manage IT application and infrastructure change requests, approvals, and production releases.
- Drive effective change management across all organizational levels.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement through clear communication and tailored messaging.
- Coach teams to optimize performance and quality, ensuring accountability and timely delivery.
- Define project scope, schedule, and deliverables while maintaining regular value delivery.
- Support product owners in stakeholder communications and expectation management.
- Document project artifacts including user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
- Identify and resolve risks, blockers, and dependencies.
- Use tools like ServiceNow to track team progress, velocity, and performance.
- Report on team metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Lead initiatives across Enterprise Support, Collaboration, Application, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and M&A services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Strong understanding of change management principles and tools.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects in a matrixed organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Industry certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or Six Sigma are a plus.
