JOB SUMMARY FOR HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST:

Seeking a Human Resources Generalist with 8–10 years of experience and a BS degree in a relevant field. Internship experience is accepted. Comparable roles include HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, and HR Representative.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST:

  • Act as a point of escalation for questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems
  • Instruct staff on advising management on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
  • Resolve disputes and administer disciplinary procedures
  • Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations
  • May represent the organization in HR meetings

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST:

  • 8–10 years of customer service-related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
