Position: Pharmacy Prior Authorization Representative
Location: Hybrid in Detroit, MI
Pay: $19.18 to $22 per hour
Job Description:
The Pharmacy Technician Role is within a remote contact center. We service Medicare Part D Members and Providers. Our goal is to handle inbound mail related to M3P program, as well as Member and Provider inquiries concerning benefits and coverage determinations. Our timeframes are extremely tight (urgent 24 hours, standard 72 hours).
Work Schedule:
• Mon. – Fri. from 8am and as late as 6pm in office days. On-site on rotational basis. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs. Help desk is opened Mon. – Fri. 8am to 6pm.
• Peak Season Oct. to Mar.
• Schedules are based on seniority and company needs.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:
- Retail Pharmacy experience – at least 2 years.
- Good computer skills (Typing, outlook, excel, etc.)
- Good fundamental knowledge of Part D drug names and drug classes
- Exceptional Customer Service
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Willingness to accept change
Preferred Skills/Experience include:
- Call center experience
- CMS knowledge
