Business Process Specialist (Technical Business Analyst)

Location: Peoria, IL (On-site)

Pay Rate: $46-50/hourly with optional benefits packages including PTO, medical insurance, and 401k

  • Act as the key liaison between Global Warranty and IT, bridging business needs with cutting-edge technology.
  • Define objectives, gather requirements, and lead initiatives that improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Partner with business leaders and technical teams to implement innovative solutions and ensure seamless product integration.

Position’s Contributions:

  • Work closely with Scrum of Scrum master, Scrum Master, Technical Lead, and Software Engineers
  • Track and communicate design, development, and support of new features
  • Identify and resolve complex customer problems
  • Lead user acceptance test scripts and write training documents

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Parts Pricing team to understand requirements and improve solutions
  • Perform and lead business process analyses
  • Set priorities and establish work plans with business partners and technical teams
  • Gather and consolidate feedback from business partners
  • Coordinate with product development engineers
  • Identify and report design, reliability, and maintenance issues
  • Provide guidance and support for product integration
  • Train business partners and leaders
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (SoX)
  • Lead UAT scripts and write training documents/job aids
  • Provide expert advice on enterprise business processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making
  • Participate in 2–3 projects concurrently

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5–7 years in business processes and systems
  • OR Associate’s degree with 10 years’ experience

Technical Skills

  • Required:

    • Previous experience as a Business Analyst for large, complex IT solutions
    • Familiarity with Agile methodology and programming languages (Java, PostgreSQL, AWS)
    • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work with offshore teams and provide leadership
    • Knowledge of Agile development lifecycle
  • Desired:

    • Previous experience as a software engineer (Java or similar)
    • Experience with off-the-shelf solutions (e.g., Salesforce)
