Lab Engineer

Pay Rate: $93 – $94 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize, calibrate, and configure laboratory testing systems and instruments.
  • Conduct testing and analysis related to:
  • Electrical circuits
  • Signal integrity
  • I-V and RF tests
  • Optical microscopy
  • Manage procurement and inventory control of lab supplies and equipment.
  • Provide technical support, training, and guidance to lab technicians, engineers, and other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO accreditations and audit requirements.
  • Generate detailed technical reports and deliver clear presentations.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

 

Requirements

Education: Minimum Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

Experience: 4+ years of related industry experience with hands-on work using lab tools and basic test equipment.

Strong background in:

  • Electrical testing (Signal Integrity, Circuit Design, I-V and RF tests)
  • Optical methods (Thermal and Light Microscopy)
  • Design tools (SolidWorks, 3D printing, CT scanning)
  • Expertise in lab equipment protocols, calibration, and configuration.
  • Experience in procurement and inventory management for laboratory supplies.
  • Knowledge of ISO accreditation processes and audit requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

 

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Python programming and foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Knowledge of materials analysis techniques such as DSC, TGA, XRF, and FTIR.
  • Proven laboratory management and operations experience.
