Data Analyst (Job Code: 1371)

Duties: Responsible for examining documents, and monitoring work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications; review documents such as production schedules and work orders; collect, clean, and interpret large sets of data to identify patterns and trends to make business decisions; utilize SQL Database, Power BI, Python, Visual Studio, requirements gathering, data cleaning, data migration, strategic planning, business process improvement, visualization, dashboard creation, and inventory management to perform duties; use various tools and strategies to extract insights from data such as statistical analytics and data visualization; identify opportunities for optimization through supply chain data analysis; streamline logistics processes through collaboration using updated metrics; mitigate risks by addressing underlying issues in the supply chain; facilitate the deployment of data-driven strategies to optimize workflow; implement effective supply chain strategies; apply methods to visualize and report data effectively; translate complex data into understandable information for stakeholders; develop dashboards with Power BI to monitor key performance indicators; leverage SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data into databases; monitor backorders, schedules, shipments, and inventory; and use forecasts and months of supply to balance supply and demand.

Location: Southfield, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;

Salary: $86,965 per year;

Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience: None;

Other Requirements: Must have completed one (1) academic semester of coursework and/or academic research work which included use of all the following: SQL Database, Power BI, Python, Visual Studio, requirements gathering, data cleaning, data migration, strategic planning, business process improvement, visualization, dashboard creation, and inventory management.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
