About the Role
As a Specification Analyst, you will play a key role in the engineering product development change process. This position involves managing and coordinating data in SAP and PDMLink systems to support design changes and ensure data integrity across major programs and product improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete task-based SAP data coordination and updates for design changes to complex parts and assemblies.
- Use the engineering change process to create, coordinate, and maintain complex Bills of Material, Material Masters, and part attribute data in SAP and PDMLink Enterprise systems.
- Audit and process various request forms related to specifications.
- Serve as liaison and consultant, providing feedback that impacts specification and decision activities; act as specification representative for project teams.
- Perform specification audits and monitor engineering changes to ensure data integrity and uniformity.
- Coordinate implementation decisions for inter-factory changes.
- Facilitate multi-discipline meetings, record and publish meeting minutes, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent adoption of specifications.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Recent graduate with a 4-year degree.
- Background in engineering, customer service, or data analytics is helpful.
- Willingness to learn; SAP experience is beneficial.
