The Epitec team had the opportunity to assist Forgotten Harvest at their warehouse in Oak Park, Michigan, by dedicating a few hours of their time. We have established a partnership with this local organization to combat food insecurity in the community and support charitable initiatives. Forgotten Harvest collects surplus food from nearby supermarkets and suppliers, organizes it, and distributes it to individuals in need.
During this volunteer event, our task was to package meat sticks provided by a local vendor. Throughout the session, we had the chance to deepen our understanding of the organization’s mission, engage with other businesses, and build meaningful connections with our colleagues. The Epitec team worked diligently to sort and wrap over 3,000 meat sticks to distribute to the community.
