Epitec is proud to be the Corporation of the Year for Cass Community Social Services. Thank you for this recognition!
From everyone at Epitec, thank you! We are proud to support such a great cause.
In 2018, Epitec set a goal of building 6 Tiny Homes. Through the dedication and support of everyone at Epitec, our family, corporate partners and suppliers, together we achieved our goal for the Tiny Homes project, raising $240,000! These efforts will change the lives of 6 homeless Detroiters by giving them an opportunity to become a homeowner.
Every donation and dollar raised helped us move toward our goal. From the corporate “Jeans Day” donations to our Tiny Homes Volunteer Days, we rolled up our sleeves to dig in and help out. We came together for a fun Family Bowling fundraiser to bowl over poverty and raise money, followed by a series of evening benefits at Our Detroit Vodka. With our sponsors Huntington Bank, Plante Moran, Westborn Market and Our Detroit Vodka, we put on several great events that brought Epitec halfway to our fundraising goal.
Our work didn’t stop there: We chilled out with an Ice Cream Social at Hart Plaza, and we made it a sweet day despite some rain. We also laced up our shoes for the home stretch as we organized a Tiny Homes Shoe Drive. Over the course of 75 days, we collected 3,315 shoes, exceeding our goal of 2,500 shoes.
Together with the collaboration of the Epitec family and everyone at Cass Community Social Services, we will join forces to realize a vision that started one year ago. The recognition we received today is wonderful but the best feeling will be the moment the 6 Detroit residents walk through their front door for the first time. This moment will complete a dream for Epitec and provide a lifetime of opportunity for someone else!

Epitec is proud to announce that we have reached our Tiny Homes fundraising goal of $240,000.
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered, attended and donated to this wonderful cause. 100% of the money raised will fund the construction of 6 Tiny Homes and do much, much more.
Together with your support, we are impacting people’s lives and the lives of the generations to follow. We are fighting to break the poverty cycle with home ownership. We are creating opportunity and building communities by providing food, housing, health services and job programs in the City of Detroit.
We will keep you posted on the progress, as we look forward to breaking ground in May 2019!
